Elections

In order to run for a position on the Student Association Board you must meet the following:
Executive Position (Executive VP, VP Finance and VP Student Life)
· Have 80 signatures (with valid student ID numbers)
· Have a 3.0 GPA in order to run
· Have a letter of recommendation from your Dean/Associate Dean and an instructor or program coordinator
· Be registered as a full-time, activity-fee paying student
· Comply with the academic policy as set forth by SLC
· Be bondable by successfully completing a police clearance
· Want to make a difference
Director Positions (Business, Community Services, Skilled Trades & Tourism, Communication, Health Science, Justice Studies & Applied Arts, and Applied Science & Computing)
· Have 50 signatures (with valid student ID numbers) from full-time students registered in the department you are seeking nomination from
· Have a 3.0 GPA in order to run
· Have a letter of recommendation from your Dean/Associate Dean and an instructor or program coordinator
· Be registered as a full-time, activity-fee paying student
· Comply with the academic policy as set forth by SLC
· Be bondable by successfully completing a police clearance
· Want to make a difference
Please note that no member of the Board of Directors can receive any form of remuneration from St. Lawrence College for services rendered, including from the Job Bursary Fund, work study program or any committee whose funds are held in trust by the College. Directors only may receive the above mentioned remuneration during the summer semester.
