The Student Voice will take advertising, sponsorship and donations to help to support the voice of the students. 

We have print newspaper pricing and we have web news pricing (see below).

Some reasons why you should advertise with the Student Voice News:

1. The Student Voice Newspaper is the only local newspaper available in the main halls of the college.  We have exclusive exposure on Video Displays throughout the Student Association Lounges and Games room. And we have a website for direct online engagement of students.

2. St. Lawrence College has over 20,000 full and part time students, and over 1000 staff – all potential customers.

3. Because the Student Voice is student operated Media our prices are very reasonable because there is no overhead and wages expense.

4. Over 80% of College students read their college paper and visit Student Voice website for current campus news, events, contests, housing lists and emergency reports.

5. Students have just as much disposable income as any other consumer does and students have access to credit, and they love to make purchases; especially our over 10 thousand part time students who work in the community.

6. Students at St. Lawrence will become your working class community in Kingston becoming future consumers.

7. Students at St. Lawrence are not students for very long.  After 1, 2 or 3 years they are working in the business community around you creating long term customers much more than Queen’s students who may travel away for their careers.

8. Because of this you may not see St. Lawrence students as students, but as new entries into the workforce with over 90% of student gaining employment within 6 months of graduation.

9. Supporting the Student Voice is affordable and is targeted to an exclusive hard to reach market with far more success than other media.

10. Advertising with the Student Voice is also supporting the Voice of the students which hits a warm tone with students.

11. Also, there are conferences and post graduate programs attracting business leaders in the community who will be exposed to the Student Voice Newspaper.

Also, don’t forget that Student Voice is a community publication and we are very interested in your ideas for articles and coverage.  If you have an idea for an article that you feel that we should develop or if you wish to develop one yourself just call and we can help you make it happen.

Our Key Dates are:

Reservation Deadline: The 1st of every month to reserve some space for your advertising or sponsorship piece.
Copy Deadline: The 10th of every month to submit your copy and images. Then the paper is distributed around the 1st of the next month and circulates for the month.

Front Page Lug: $100

Front Page Bottom Banner: $50

For Full Colour add 50%

For Graphic Design add $25% to 50% depending on the custom work needed.  This is negotiable.
